Japan America Society of Nevada Visits MEET

MEET was pleased to welcome the Japan America Society for its recent monthly meeting. Forty Japanese-American business professionals gathered at MEET for a tour of the facility, lunch and a presentation by Mario Battali's, Pastry Chef, Doug Taylor. The topic of conversation was the new farmer's market that the duo has started bringing several farms within 100 miles of Las Vegas together every Thursday. Las Vegas chefs want to use fresh produce and it was difficult to come by until now. Only local chefs can shop the market for the first hour before it opens to the public. The market is a great success with about 1000 people visiting the market every Thursday.

John Donovan, a board member of the Japan America Society of Nevada had some great feedback on the event, "Your whole team was amazing, your facility is amazing, and I'm amazed I can't think of any other adjectives...amazing!"
