Fresh and Easy Shows Off Holiday Food Line at MEET

The popular grocery chain Fresh & Easy chose MEET Las Vegas recently to showcase its fall line of food and wine for Vegas media and bloggers. For the thirty attendees, a Fresh and Easy chef prepared appetizers and desserts from items found in its stores. Guests enjoyed tantalizing items such as Fresh Mozzarella, Arugula and Pesto Crostini, Prosciutto-Wrapped Shrimp, Almond and Cinnamon Tart, and Tiramisu Eggnog Trifle. The chef complemented the food with both red and white wines; selections included Rockcliffe Family Chardonnay, Ora Italian red, and Hilltown Vineyard Chardonnay.

At the end of the evening, attendees received a tasty takeaway with gift bags full of Cranberry Walnut Loaf, Coconut Belgian White Chocolate cookies, and recipes for the event menu items, among other goodies.

The fun event, now in its 6th year, attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of Santa Clauses.
